The Nashville Zoo features myriad wildlife exhibits, including African elephant habitats and the “Unseen New World,” which displays bats, reptiles and amphibians and how they blend into their natural habitats. Daily lectures by zookeepers allow visitors to learn more about caring for a variety of zoo animals and the complex includes a 19th-century farm and home. It is located in southern Nashville, a few miles from the Nashville International Airport.
Open daily Apr - mid-Oct: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; mid-Oct - Mar: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adults $13; Seniors (65+) $11; Children (3-12) $8; Children under 3 are free.
