Initiated as a radio show in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has grown into a country music phenomenon, attracting the top names in the industry to the 4,400-seat Grand Ole Opry House for its live shows and broadcasts. Affiliated with the concert venue, the Opry Museum pays tribute to the show and its stars, featuring performers such as Patsy Cline, Little Jimmy Dickens, Minnie Pearl and Garth Brooks. Visitors can buy tickets to catch one of these stunning performances or tour the museum, located just north of Opry Mills on the northeastern side of town, near Willie Nelson's Museum.
