The Stock-Yard Steakhouse was an excellent experience. The service was exceptional, the wine list was extensive, and the food was hot and plentiful. While it is not in the status of a Ruth Chris or a Smith and Wolensky I would rate it just below their level. I am a carnivoire and have eaten steaks across the country this restaurant ranks in the top 15.

We had reservations and ended up waiting 2 later than our reservation time. We were seated in an empty room with tables that had not been cleaned off from the previous guests. The steak was fantastic and expensive and would have been worth it if the service had been top notch. Even though the food was good we will not return.

This is a very nice restaurant. It is a little expensive but the food is worth it. This is a great place to go on a date night.
